Typhoid Fever

Typhoid is a dangerous disease. Its symptoms are Fever, Weakness, Diarrhea, Nausea and Vomiting, Abdominal Pain, and symptoms of Dehydration if not treated immediately. The patient needs to be taken to the nearest doctor or hospital. But during an emergency where there is no doctor, 

For children, CHLOROMYCETIN PALMITATE SUSPENSION, can be given.

If Chloromycetin Palmitate Suspension is not available, one of the medicines listed below can be used.

For children and adults who cannot swallow tablets or capsules

• Entrecin Suspension - DA15
• Kemicetine Palmitate Suspension - DA15 
• Neophenicol Suspension - DA15
• UL/Chloramphenicol W/Streptomycin Suspension -DA15
• Uniclor Suspension - DA15

If Chloromycetin Capsule is not available, one of the drugs listed here can be used.

• Chlorambel Capsule - DA7
• Chloramphen Capsule - DA7
• Chloromycetin Capsule 250 mg. DA 7
