COMMON COLDS

This is an infection of a type of germ (Virus). The medicine should be given to prevent complications and relieve the patient's symptoms due to common colds. This disease is characterized by headache, stuffy nose, sneezing, and sometimes fever and cough. In children, common colds is usually the cause of Bronchitis, so in recurring common colds, a doctor must be consulted. 


But when needed, and no doctor is available, DECOLSIN SUSPENSION can be administered to the child.

For older people, DECOLGEN TABLET can be used.

If Decolsin Suspension is not available, one of the medicines listed below can be used.

For children and adults who cannot swallow tablets or capsules:

  • Coplexen Liquid - DA 1
  • Corilin Infant Liquid - DA1
  • Decofsin Syrup - DA 1
  • Decolgen Liquid - DA 1
  • Decolsin Suspension - DA1 
  • Kolton Grippale Syrup - DA1
  • Nafarin Liquid - DA 1
  • Nasadrin D Syrup - DA 1
  • Neozep Syrup - DA 1
  • Sinutab Pediatric Suspension - DA 1
  • Temprafen Syrup - DA 1
  • Tuss-Ornade Liquid - DA 1


If there is no Decolgen Tablet, one of the medicines listed below can be used.

For adults who can swallow tablets or capsules

  • Allerin CR Tablet - DA 2
  • AP Histallin Tablet - DA2
  • Coldease Tablet - DA2
  • Coricidin Forte Capsule - DA 4
  • Coricidin Tablet - DA 2
  • Decolgen Tablet - DA 2
  • Decolsin Capsule - DA 4
  • Kolton Grippale Tablet - DA 2
  • Nafarin A Tablet - DA2
  • Nasadrin Capsule - DA 4
  • Neozep Tablet - DA 2
  • Ornade Spansule - DA 34
  • Septacidin Capsule - DA 4
  • Sinutab Tablet - DA2
  • Sumagesic Tablet - DA 2
  • Synepherical Tablet - DA2

  • Tuss-Ornade Spansule - DA34


If there are signs or symptoms of Bronchitis, and no doctor can be consulted, the suggestions under the topic BRONCHITIS should be followed.
