It is most important to know the difference between Asthma and Bronchitis, to avoid mistake in giving medicine even in an emergency. In Asthma, there may be no infection, and anti-Asthma medication is enough to treat the disease. But in Bronchitis, there is an infection or germ, which causes the disease. Therefore, the medicine against Asthma alone, does not completely cure bronchitis. It only relaxes for a while but still the disease is getting worse. The doctor knows best whether the disease is Asthma or Bronchitis. So if there is any doubt, it is better to take the patient to the doctor immediately.
